Dayakar is a Managing Partner at Naya Ventures, a 50 million USD fund that invests in early-stage Cloud, Mobile & Big Data companies. Apart from his role at Naya Ventures, Dayakar is Executive Chairman at Motivity Labs, GlobalOutlook and KeepTrax. He is also a Board Member at Altia Systems, SnapOne and Zoomingo. He is a Board Observer at Minetta Brook and an Advisory Board Member at Boxfish and Glympse.
Previously, Dayakar owned the P&L for the Hosting & Mobility Solutions business at Microsoft. He was responsible for the incubation, development and management of new mobility solutions. He also led the $350M hosting business encompassing all product development, product management, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Microsoft, as Founder and CEO of JP Mobile, Dayakar pioneered the industry's first mobile software solutions company. He secured $55 million in financing and successfully completed its acquisition by Good Technology, later acquired by Motorola.
Dayakar began his career with Motorola. He owned the P&L for the Paging product, including all aspects of design, development and world-wide customer support. He received the Engineering Excellence Award from management at Nippon Motorola.
Dayakar is an active supporter of entrepreneurs and startups. He has been involved with the Dallas chapter of The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE) since 1999 and is currently a charter member. Among other activities, he chaired the wireless/mobility SIG of TiE, and organized a wireless seminar in partnership with Nokia, TI and others. Dayakar is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University and earned a master's degree in computer science from Nova University.
Prabhakar is a recognized business development executive, with over 20 years of diverse experience in global operations, business development, and Strategy for various organizations, including advisory roles to Fortune 500 Executives on Global Sourcing and Growth/Innovation strategies.
Prabhakar is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Naya Ventures. Besides his role at Naya, he actively oversees portfolio companies Motivity Labs and Global Outlook as President and CEO. He is also actively involved in aligning strategic partnerships and business development efforts for all Naya portfolio companies.
Prior to Naya he was a Managing Director at ANSR Group, a global sourcing advisory firm with operations in the US and India. Prabhakar has extensive experience in establishing operations for Fortune 500 firms in India and ANSR Group has been instrumental in the creation of over 10,000 jobs in India for their clients. Previously, Prabhakar was also involved as a partner at SunGard, where he was responsible for managing the delivery of technology and strategic business initiatives for Fortune 100 firms.
Prabhakar was one of the founding investors and CIO of Risesmart.com, an innovative Online HR company backed by prominent VC firms in the Bay Area. Prabhakar is an active angel investor and Board Director at GlobalOutlook and Motivity Labs as well as an advisory board member at Fusion Investments and Oyokey.
Prabhakar holds a MBA from the Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering from Andhra University, India.
Gowri serves as a venture partner with Naya and focuses on investments on the West Coast.Gowri has an established track record of building and growing companies at the intersection of mobile, infrastructure and content for over twenty years. He was on the founding team at Sprint PCS and pioneered both direct and online wireless sales in the early 90's. Most recently he served as President and CEO of SinglePoint, a mobile marketing agency focussed at media companies where he pioneered the interactive TV through mobile with NBC Universal, MTV, CBS and Disney.
Gowri has significant international experience having grown companies in both Europe and India. Gowri serves on the board for Skedi, Carbon Credits International and is an advisor to ReQall, Earth 911 and Zoomingo.
Gowri holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Madras and a MBA from University of Missouri, Kansas City. He is an avid bicyclist and a NPR junkie.

He helps portfolio companies with corporate strategy, technology strategy and revenue models. His areas of focus include Internet of Things (IoT), distributed computing, big data & analytics, AI & machine learning, cloud and mobility. Venkat serves as an advisor to several startups and is a board observer and strategic advisor to HyperVerge, KeepTrax and TeleStax.
In the past, in senior executive management roles, Venkat has overseen R&D, innovation & strategy, development of tools & platforms, and bringing disruptive solutions to market. Previously Venkat was the global head for the Technology Modernization and IT Strategy Practice at Infosys. Venkat has co-founded multiple startups in product engineering, real-time predictive analytics, management consulting and education, both bootstrapping as well as successfully raising capital. He has held several senior management positions in Technology and has two decades of experience in global technology management.
