Corpus Mobile Labs Plays Important Role in Microsoft’s Incubation Week as a Gold Partner
Corpus Mobile Labs solution development services provide rapid development and deployment of applications for mobile application providers.
Corpus Mobile Labs by invitation from the Microsoft Emerging Business team, helped power Microsoft’s Incubation Week at its new facility in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Corpus Mobile Labs (CML) provided pro bono development resources to several of the selected developers helping them design and develop a new application for a Windows Mobile device in a compressed window of time. Developers were given only 4 days to design, develop and test the applications prior to demonstrating live to a judging panel composed of VC’s and technology experts.
CML’s offshore resources in Bangalore and Hyderabad, enabled developer partners to develop “round the clock” working though the night on the other side of the world to deliver new code each morning to the teams in Chevy Chase, providing an efficient and effective means for them to complete the development by the deadline. As a result, one of Corpus’s assigned developer teams finished a close second in the contest. Mobile Incubation Week is sponsored by Microsoft to enable selected developers (6 out of over 150 applicants) to work side by side with MS developer support staff to learn and leverage the latest interfaces to Windows phones, including the new functionality of Window Mobile 6.5 (Windows phone) which was released immediately following the conference. CML ‘s involvement demonstrates its commitment to supporting the developer community.
“The Microsoft Emerging Business Team sincerely appreciates the effort and commitment which Corpus Mobile Labs demonstrated by supporting our developer community. Their investment of time and resources enabled several of our participants to complete their projects on a very tight timeline.” said Brian Hoskins, Director on Microsoft’s Emerging Business Team.
“Corpus Mobile Labs played an important role at Microsoft’s Mobile Incubation Week by providing developers with the support they needed to meet the rigorous schedule. Our highly skilled resources on site and abroad functioned as an extension of their engineering teams to accelerate the production of their application designs.” said Ron Gastrock, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Corpus.
